Spring Festival in Spain

January, 2025 · Short stay in Barcelona, Seville, Granada.

We had a great time in Seville and Granada. Maybe it was because I’d set my expectations pretty low? Or perhaps the warm weather there just did the trick? I’m not sure, but either way, it was an absolute blast!

We decided to celebrate Chinese New Year at a local Chinese restaurant. There were so many Asians. We had to wait almost an hour for our food, but the dishes were really good!

Seville

Casa de Contratación (now Archivo General De Indias) · It is also featured as a wonder in the game Civilization.

The street performer was showing balancing acts. We actually didn't know that he would switch his posture when a coin was tossed. The switch moment was really funny.

Granada

In southern Spain, especially around Seville and Granada, you can find orange trees everywhere.

Alhambra · Look at the intricate patterns and designs on the ceiling and walls. Can't imagine how much time and efforts went into building such a palace.
